This is an awesome book. Full of humor and also very informative. Without a doubt a must read for any of those about to embark on a trip to the "jungle", missionary or otherwise. Im waiting impatiently for the author's next release.
This book is easily hands down the best book I've read on how to plan, coordinate, and execute a mission trip abroad. Pastor Barry has chocked this book full of great information on understanding the mission field and the culture before you go. His 30 chapters cover a broad spectrum of information, advice, and the things you should and should not do while in the mission field. This book is great for first-timers or or the experienced veteran missionary. This book will help you whether you are a short term missionary, long term missionary, aspiring to be missionary, or a pastor leading a group mission trip from their church. This book will also help pastors, deacons, and church members who want to start doing missions and want to learn how and where to start.
